...for a week.
Note to self: when going to a country with a cash based society, make sure the T&E card is capable of cash advance BEFORE departure.
Wednesday I leave Japan, supposedly for good. I have had been unable to find a way to receive my medication in Japan; I have tried to find a way for the past Four months, but to no avail.
Since I will be leaving soon, Bee and myself decided that we should do one last splurge trip. Woke up early, indending to take a limited express (LEX) to Tokyo (failed and ended up Green Car insted - the isolated reserved seat cars that cost a little extra). Next, Nozomi Shinkansen down the Tōkaido line to Nagoya to see Nagoya-jō, the castle. Should be interesting. Currently, we are on the Shinkansen which (as the fastest in Japan - an N700 variety, we are cruising down the tracks on at about 186mph!

...I seem to be nothing more than a glorified CAD monkey. Whenever testing needs to be done, I am left out. When I ask to be taught how to do the testing (or if I can at least observe the proceedure), I get a nervous chuckle and a change of subject. I am not even included in conference call detailing any of the current projects I am working on! All I get is trickle-down information. Talk about feeling loved (beware of the sharp edged sarcasm there)!
Maybe things will change...I don't know...
All I do know is that my current prescription only has about 25 days remaining, and that the prescription cannot be filled in Japan.
Here's to a future full of uncertainity!

It is now official, the Japanese do NOT know how to brew whiskey!

Not much to say. We came in on the Shinkansen and grabbed lodging for the night...then extended the stay. Nice hotel. Rain prevented any real sightseeing, but things have cleared up some so I hope day 5 goes better. Plans for day 5, flood of culture. Gion, handicrafts, Ginkakujin, Kinkakujin, and anything else we can fit in. Day 6 was adjusted from Tokyo return to be a Hiroshima run, with a Nagoya chaser if time permits.
